- ➤ At the 2025 Art on the Green Art Garden, children painted fabric squares that were sewn into Quilts of Love for the families of fallen fire battalion chiefs Frank Harwood and John Morrison — and for injured fire engineer David Tysdal. - ➤ Coeur d'Alene firefighter David Tysdal retired after 24 years on January 31 — he was injured last summer on Canfield Mountain when he alerted colleagues about a shooter. The Spokesman-Review

- ➤ Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre named veteran educator Paul Swofford as education program manager for the Musical Theatre Training Institute on Feb. 4 to lead pop-up musical theater workshops at Boys and Girls Clubs — training programs begin March 7. - ➤ Christian Youth Theater North Idaho’s 'Seussical the Musical' opens tonight at 7 at the Kroc Center (1765 W.
