- ➤ Post Falls city staff worked weeks to stuff 20,000 eggs for a free Easter egg hunt at Q’emiln Park from 1 to 2 p.m. April 19 at 12201 W. - ➤ Coeur d’Alene police are searching for a man in his late teens to 20s suspected of trying to grab an 11-year-old girl walking her dog on North Bedford Lane on Sunday morning around 11:15 after he asked to pet her dog, followed her, made an inappropriate comment and grabbed her arm before she ran to a nearby home — anyone with information should call 208 769-2320. - ➤ Emerge will host its fifth annual Ceramic Throwdown and Cup Frenzy from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 11 at its venue on N. Second St. The free event will feature a Throwdown Challenge with contests such as blindfolded throwing and a cup sale that benefits the nonprofit’s pottery studio, with VIP tickets (limited to 50) granting early entry at 4 p.m. Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ North Idaho College student Gracie Duncan won the contest for the Festival at Sandpoint poster with her design 'Alpenglow Sailing'—a depiction of a sailboat gliding on Lake Pend Oreille at sunset—and earned a $1,000 scholarship. - ➤ The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and its partners provided $4,197,169 to fund 28 projects that improve wildlife habitats across Idaho.
