  • Duaine Johnson, a veteran honored for his 20 years in the Air Force, was moved to tears Monday morning when he received a Quilt of Valor at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Post Falls.   • Denny Burt, owner of Coeur d'Alene's oldest music store, announced his retirement with his staff coming in June after over 50 years of serving local musicians.   • Coeur d’Alene police arrested 71-year-old Laura J. Drake on Monday on charges of tax fraud, perjury and grand theft after North Idaho Physical Therapy workers found altered logbooks hiding over $60,000 in missing cash—records show she failed to report more than $56,000 in income from 2019 to 2022 and admitted to taking cash during a December 2022 meeting—authorities continue to investigate her claims of partial repayment.  Coeur d'Alene Press
