ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A man died in a single-vehicle crash early Friday near Hayden Lake Road and Rhapsody Lane—deputies later found him in a ditch about 60 feet down an embankment after he tried to walk to the roadway for help, and evidence indicated that alcohol or drugs may have contributed. The Spokesman-Review
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ A new Idaho law signed by Gov. Brad Little will end DEI programs in public universities, including the center at the University of Idaho that helped Black students stay enrolled, and it will take effect on July 1. Senate Bill 1198 passed on April 11 as lawmakers argued that DEI efforts divide students. Coeur d'Alene Press
