- ➤ The Coeur d’Alene Public Library will host its annual Earth Day celebration this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event themed Our Power, Our Planet will feature educational booths, a family story time, and live performances near McEuen Park—all planned to inspire sustainable energy ideas. - ➤ The Museum of North Idaho will open its new home at the historic JC White House at 11 a.m. Friday (a building built in 1903 and moved from near City Park) where museum staff, board members and locals will mark the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring new exhibits and pop-up history talks. Years of restoration and community support led to relocating the museum from its old spot, and plans for an expansion of its exhibition and archival space will follow. Coeur d'Alene Press

- ➤ Post Falls High School students will perform Pride and Prejudice tomorrow at 7 p.m. in a Trojan Theatre Department production directed by Jared McDougall—featuring 25 cast members with period costuming and Regency dancing; additional shows are set for April 17, 18, 21 and 22. - ➤ Mikey Chase-Braden is a senior at Post Falls High School and a K-Tech student who won first place in both regional and state construction technology competitions and will now compete nationally in Atlanta. His former teacher Gretchen Bell said his success shows that skilled trades help students overcome early challenges — he is preparing for his first flight — and build a promising future.
