- ➤ An 11-year-old Post Falls boy named Tatum Newbauer was in a life-threatening motorcycle crash on Easter when a driver lost control and hit parked vehicles on north Spokane Street—he is now home recovering from multiple injuries with doctors saying he will need more evaluation but no major surgery except for some dental work. - ➤ One person was treated for burn injuries after a structure fire in Athol on Wednesday morning near the 800 block of Road 22 (residents evacuated as flames spread). Firefighters from several agencies battled the blaze (the home later collapsed) and remained on scene Wednesday evening to secure full containment. Coeur d'Alene Press

- ➤ A Coeur d'Alene Public Schools trustee resigned Wednesday after Post Falls police arrested her early Sunday on suspicion of driving under the influence and possessing drug paraphernalia + the board will meet on May 12 to select a replacement. The Spokesman-Review

- ➤ Coeur d’Alene High School Theater Department’s production of Les Misérables opens today at 7 p.m. and runs through May 3 — the classic musical follows Jean Valjean’s struggle and redemption with a talented cast of students. Coeur d'Alene Press

- ➤ Idaho voters must register or update their information online by Friday, April 25 - this step is required to request absentee ballots for the May 20 local election, and those voting in person can register at the polls with a valid ID. The Spokesman-Review
- ➤ A judge on April 17 ordered Attorney General Raúl Labrador to be deposed for up to two hours in a whistleblower lawsuit filed by former deputy attorney Daphne Huang who said she was fired after raising ethical concerns.
