- ➤ The 3Cs Coeur d'Aleers will perform a free choral concert titled 'Music! Music! Music!' at Trinity Lutheran Church on Tuesday at 2 p.m. plus Friday, May 1 at 7 p.m. The program features 38 women singers, tap dancers, and a band with a raffle prize and cookies. Coeur d'Alene Press
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Culp family built a local news legacy when they moved their newspaper business to Rathdrum and renamed it the Tribune in the early 1900s. The siblings ran the paper until retiring in 1960 and are remembered as an important part of local history, with all three buried together at Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens. Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ Coeur d'Alene High School Theatre Department is showing Hadestown Teen Edition, a retelling of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice with live band and striking lighting. - ➤ KEC announced it will buy power from a new combined-cycle gas plant built in Rathdrum by PNGC Power & Kindle Energy. The facility, which uses new tech to lower emissions, will start in about six years to help keep local power reliable. Coeur d'Alene Press

- ➤ Levity Theatre will offer a two-week Improv Basics course for beginners starting May 4, with sessions on May 4, 5, 11, and 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church on E.
