At Length + Strength Barre Studio in Hayden, the inaugural Mom Prom Dress Swap let moms buy gently used gowns for a $10 donation and donate their own dresses; funds helped send two moms to prom ahead of the fundraiser on May 2 at the Coeur d'Alene Eagles Lodge.
🎓 Education
The Order of the Eastern Star will host its third annual Scholarship Car Show at Majestic Park in Rathdrum at 8 a.m. May 2—judging at 10 a.m. and awards at 2 p.m.—with all proceeds supporting high school senior scholarships in Kootenai County.
Growing the STEM's inaugural 'Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?' gala is on May 13 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Best Western Plus Coeur d'Alene Inn.
The contest pits celebrities against fifth graders (tickets start at $90 until Wednesday) to fund free afterschool STEM programs.
