- ➤ On Monday evening, retired Army Sgt. Maj. Daniel Dailey addressed 22 new recruits at Post Falls American Legion 143, sharing how an Army career offers education, training, and a supportive family; two recruits will head to basic training at Fort Benning while two proceed to Fort Sill. - ➤ State tax officials reported that $7 million remains in the school choice tax credit program after awarding $33.4 million in tax credits and $8.84 million in advance payments from a $50 million fund.
