- ➤ The Coeur d'Alene City Council unanimously approved a memorandum of understanding for an indoor baseball complex that will help youth teams practice during inclement weather, with interior batting cages, bullpens, and a fielding area planned, and construction set to begin soon (despite changes to the parking layout). - ➤ Don Johnston, John Adams and Marge Chadderdon were influential local leaders known for their fairness and dedication — Johnston, 97, died last week, Adams passed April 24 and Chadderdon died early this week. Community leaders said their legacy helped shape Coeur d'Alene. Coeur d'Alene Press
