- ➤ A rainy start gave way to sunshine on Wednesday at Fifth Street Farmers Market as organizers from the Coeur d’Alene Downtown Association welcomed neighbors near Underground Bagels—about 60 vendors offered crafts, foods, and art during the event which runs every Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. through September. - ➤ Kootenai County voters will decide the new Community Library Network trustee seat on May 20, choosing between former communications director Victoria Bauman and ex-Post Falls School Board trustee Michelle Lippert. Lippert plans to restore parental rights and library hours while Bauman supports current measures to protect children from harmful materials — the outcome will impact library policies moving forward.
