- ➤ Game wardens in Bonner County cited a hunter who shot a grizzly bear in the Lucky Creek drainage north of Priest Lake last week after he self-reported mistaking it for a black bear, and he may face fines, jail time, and a loss of hunting privileges under state and federal law. - ➤ The defense for Bryan Kohberger—charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the November 2022 stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students—asked the court to seal its allegations about other suspects and was ordered to file evidence and admissibility arguments by May 23 while prosecutors will respond by June 6 and a hearing is set for June 18.
