Dishman Hills Conservancy members questioned the potential merger with Inland Northwest Lands Conservancy at a May 14 meeting, where leaders clarified that donations would still benefit Dishman Hills and recreational use would remain the same + several members raised concerns about transparency and the future local mission.
🏥 Health
On May 13, NAMI held an introductory meeting at North Idaho College to share free mental health support options.
It offers weekly support groups (in-person and digital) for ages 18+ and will host a monthly mental health series from September through April 2027 at the Meyers Health and Sciences Building.
Living Strong North Idaho launched as a nonprofit to help older adults stay active and independent; it will soon lease a community space to deliver wellness programs, fitness, and nutrition support.
