ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Two 4-week-old bald eagles flown into Coeur d'Alene on Saturday are cared for at Birds of Prey Northwest by Jane and Don Veltkamp, who plan to release them into the wild fostered by an adult eagle. The nonprofit houses 50-60 birds and is repairing its facility after December windstorm damage. Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ Round Lake State Park unveiled two modern treehouses on May 20, built by Treehouse Masters using salvaged lumber and featuring ADA compliant designs with a kitchenette.
