Downtown’s 5th Street Farmers Market opens Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. with 80 vendors offering fresh flowers, eats, handcrafted art and live music - the market expands north and includes a free tote courtesy of ICCU, and Music at McEuen follows from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at McEuen Park.

Today, nearly 700 combat boots bearing American flags and portraits are displayed outside the Numerica Veterans Arena to honor fallen service members, with volunteer Tammie McConkey bringing yellow roses for her son—she has done so for years.

The tribute runs until 5 p.m.
