- ➤ Historian Dr. F. Ross Peterson will present Becoming Idaho at 5:30 p.m., June 10, at the Coeur d'Alene Public Library — part of the Museum of North Idaho's History Hour Lecture series that explores how the American Revolution set the stage for Idaho's settlement. Coeur d'Alene Press
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Coeur d’Alene Tribe was selected for the Fiscal Year 2025 Indian Health Service Joint Venture Construction Program to develop a long-term care facility — the first for an Idaho tribe in the lower 48 states. Tribal leaders say the project will improve culturally centered health care for elders and families. Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ Shoshone Medical Center introduced flexible endoscopy services through its Speech Therapy department, offering FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) performed by speech therapist Sean Curran.
