- ➤ A charity garage sale will be held at Meadowbrook Community Hall, 8088 W. Meadowbrook Loop in Coeur d'Alene on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.—proceeds will go to the repair fund for the historic building that has served the community since the turn of the 20th century. - ➤ The Art Spirit Gallery opens its new exhibition 'Epiphany' with a reception and artists panel from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at 415 Sherman Ave.—The show features works by six acclaimed artists, runs until June 29, and includes an upstairs display of the Pro Voice Project's 'Worth of a Woman' along with a stage production of 'In Defiance of Silence' at 7 p.m. June 14. - ➤ Levity Theatre moved downtown to the First Presbyterian Church at 521 E. Lakeside Ave in Coeur d'Alene. The all-ages improv comedy company will host weekly performances starting today at 7 p.m.—tickets cost $11 for children aged 6-17 and $16 for adults. Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ Yachtley Crew, the Titans of Soft Rock, will perform on July 3 and 4 at the Coeur d'Alene Casino Event Center as part of their Seas the Night World Tour— the band has appeared on national TV and radio and recently released its single 'Lowdown.' - ➤ Street Music Week returns for its 23rd year on Monday to fill streets in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene with live music; performers will sign up minutes before noon at set spots (including Coeur d’Alene’s Art Spirit Gallery) to help raise funds for Second Harvest Food Bank. - ➤ Shoshone County officials and local agencies have restarted the dive team that was dormant for nearly 20 years—Chief Scott Dietrich leads the effort with five certified divers training for water rescue operations along the Coeur d’Alene River and Chain Lakes. Officials plan to expand the team to 10-15 divers and continue fundraising to purchase essential rescue equipment and a boat. Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ The Idaho Transportation Department said that test failures on I-90’s Fourth of July Pass have paused repaving work — crews will resume once the contractor adjusts the asphalt mix.
