- ➤ Coeur d'Alene's Dave Bobbitt was elected chairman of the Idaho Fish and Game Commission with his first meeting set for July 16–17, and on May 12 a Spokane angler caught a record-setting 1.41-pound peamouth in the Columbia River. The Eastern Washington chapter of Delta Waterfowl will host a sporting clays shoot on June 28 at Landt Farms where participants will target 100 clay pigeons and enjoy a barbecue lunch to raise funds for conservation.
