A Post Falls man held a suspected vandal at gunpoint—firing a warning shot into the ground Monday morning at Black Bay Park—until police arrived, and 35-year-old Micah Cramer, who grabbed a metal pipe and made threats, was arrested for property damage and aggravated assault.

Dave Bobbitt of Coeur d’Alene has been named the new chairman of the Idaho Fish and Game Commission in May by Governor Brad Little.

He will chair his first commission meeting on July 16-17 in Coeur d’Alene—he said he aims to balance wildlife protection with hunting, fishing and trapping opportunities.
