- ➤ Athletes will start the Ironman 70.3 Coeur d'Alene swim at 6 a.m. tomorrow as mild 2 to 3 mph winds should keep the lake calm until stronger gusts and a 40% chance of rain may force organizers to shorten the leg—cyclists riding a 20-mile route toward Higgens Point may also face slick roads from the rain.
