- ➤ A Treasures in the Trunk sale will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Unity Church, 4465 N. 15th St. to support women pursuing post-secondary education and certification. The event is hosted by Coeur d’Alene Chapter CB of the Philanthropic Educational Organization—a volunteer group that provides grants and scholarships to help women advance their education. - ➤ Innovia Foundation and LaunchNW partnered with United Way of North Idaho to launch Volunteer North Idaho—an online tool that helps connect volunteers with local agencies in Kootenai County for one-time or ongoing opportunities. - ➤ Coeur d'Alene Aviation Air Show and Expo will be hosted on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pappy Boyington Field in Hayden—featuring historic aircraft like an F4U Corsair and P-51 Mustang as well as skilled aerobatic displays—while static exhibits including F-18 Growler jets add to the celebration. - ➤ The Coeur d'Alene Arts Commission said applications for ArtCurrents are due Monday, and artists will display sculptures downtown and at Riverstone for one year with a possible renewal—works must sell within the year with the city earning a 25% commission and pieces priced between $7,000 and $30,000 while selected artists receive a $1,000 stipend per year.
