  • The Coeur d'Alene Fire Department cooled off a few hundred people in McEuen Park on Saturday by spraying water overhead so kids and adults could cool off - kids met local firefighters and received free hats and stickers.  Coeur d'Alene Press
  • Hundreds gathered Saturday in Rathdrum for the parade celebrating Memories Down Main Street—featuring a Jeep wrapped in local newspaper front pages and lively displays from local groups—while emcee Kerri Thoreson highlighted the town's cherished history.  Coeur d'Alene Press
  • Local senior centers are offering meals this week, with Lake City Center serving Asian chicken salad on Monday, Hayden serving baked chicken on Tuesday, Post Falls serving chicken enchilada casserole on Wednesday, and other centers with their own menus on different days.   • Drivers on U.S. Highway 95 in Coeur d’Alene today face delays as crews with the Idaho Transportation Department paint lane lines from Lancaster Road to the Spokane River Bridge from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. — Idaho State Police will assist with patrols to manage traffic.  Coeur d'Alene Press
