- ➤ On Wednesday, brothers Cayd and Zane Winters jumped from the rocky Tubbs Hill shoreline into the cool 72-degree water of Lake Coeur d’Alene to escape a heat wave that pushed temperatures to 97 degrees—city officials noted the water system is pumping nearly 26 million gallons per day to meet increased demand. - ➤ Over 300 pilgrims left Immaculate Conception in Post Falls on July 18 to walk the 50-mile Cataldo Pilgrimage—which marked 25 years of this spiritual journey as 5 priests provided guidance through confession and prayer. The three-day event, which had 500 participants camping along parts of the route, ended at the historic Cataldo Mission with a Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Coeur d'Alene Press
