- ➤ The Pinehurst/Kingston Lions Club announced Pinehurst Days will run from today through Sunday, honoring everyday heroes in emergency services and the military. The weekend will include a 1,000 Flags Parade starting at 11 a.m. Saturday — along with vendors, a car show, BMX races and other events that fund local programs. Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ The wife of slain Coeur d'Alene Fire Battalion Chief John Morrison announced she will close the Coeur d’Alene Cider Company at 1327 E. Sherman Ave. today from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. + Her decision follows a month of grieving after Morrison was killed and comes as officials named Captain Tom Hiltenbrand the new battalion chief.
