- ➤ Numerica Credit Union announced Tuesday that 22 local nonprofits will receive $380K from its 2025 Numerica Charitable Fund to support programs for children and families. The funding benefits groups such as the Third Avenue Marketplace and the Coeur d’Alene Backpack Program – efforts aimed at providing safe housing, trauma-informed care, and educational resources. - ➤ North Idaho State Fair will be held at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds from Aug. 15 through Aug. 24 — visitors will visit an environmental booth in Building 1 to learn about local water and air quality projects and enter a drawing for clean equipment.
