The Kootenai County Fairgrounds and North Idaho State Fair unveiled two restored bar tops — each branded with livestock logos representing over 50 local families — to honor the region's agricultural heritage.
The display will be on view during the fair, which opens Friday.
Shalom Ministries, serving downtown's homeless and low-income community for 32 years from the old Central United Methodist Church, will offer its final breakfast today after Zeal Church declined to renew its lease.
