North Idaho College held its first-ever Color Fun Run 5K on Saturday with several hundred participants joining the run+ volunteers tossed bright powder at the start+ the Coeur d'Alene Fire Department sprayed a hose at the finish to cool runners off.

The City has installed new stormwater improvements at G.O.

Phippeny Park on Seventh Street, where earthwork has created a grassy infiltration area to naturally filter runoff. The project—funded by Gov. Little’s Leading Idaho Initiative—adds 26 acres of effective stormwater management to help protect Coeur d’Alene Lake.
