🎓 Education
Emery Mort, a nearly 16-year-old 4-H member from Post Falls, will show her pig Skillet in her first swine show at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds this Saturday.
She hopes the new challenge will let her demonstrate her growing showmanship as she nears her 4-H age-out.

The new bike and pedestrian campground in Smelterville opened in May and offers 26 campsites including two ADA-accessible ones, with e-bike charging stations and a gated parking area.

📰 Real Estate
Idaho Senate Bill 1352, passed in July, allows cities with 10,000 people to permit homes on lots as small as 1,500 sqft.
The change aims to boost starter home projects (like Miracle on Britton) that help middle-income families access affordable housing.

After a month of intense fall camp, the Vandals finished preseason practice and will open the season on Friday against Cal Poly in California.
Coach Thomas Ford Jr. said the team focused on discipline+communication and physical play to get ready for the upcoming game.
