Candace Conradi returns to sell special copies of her book 'Thirteen Twenty Four Sherman' about the Rathskeller Inn’s history.
She will be at the Museum of North Idaho on Sept. 19-20 (10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) and host an event at Vertical Earth on Sept. 23 (4 to 6 p.m.).

Sunshine Mine is upgrading its historic facilities with projects like a new underground portal and mill deconstruction as it works to resume sustained silver production by late 2028.
The mine celebrated its annual Family Day in August, drawing over 220 employees, families and guests at Big Creek.

Nearly 9,000 feet of Lake Creek and 700 acres of family-owned forest and farmland are permanently protected—secured by the Inland Northwest Land Conservancy with help from the Coeur d’Alene Tribe.

Touching Hearts at Home will celebrate its new office – a hub for caregiver classes – in the Hayden Professional Building on Government Way tomorrow morning with staff and community members.
The owner couple will also offer a free caregiver class on Sept. 23 at 5:30 p.m.

Mica native Kody Kopp wrapped his rookie season at the Caterpillar Springfield Mile as championship runner-up & Rookie of the Year during Labor Day weekend.
