At Riverstone Park on Saturday morning, nearly 200 community members joined the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s by placing colored flowers in the Promise Garden to show their personal ties to the disease — each color carrying a special meaning.
The association raised $39,200 of its $42,000 goal to fund research and care services.
