EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Coeur d'Alene High School Orchestra, led by Jim Phillips, will perform its fall concert—Spotlight: Student Soloists—at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the high school’s Jordan Court at 5530 N. Fourth St., featuring solo performances by its students, guest musicians from Lakes Middle School Advanced Orchestra, and a featured solo by CHS Principal Victoria Beecher. Coeur d'Alene Press
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Wallace School District installed a donated automated external defibrillator at Sather Field — donated by alumnus Terry Clem who reached out in July — to help athletes with quick emergency response during games. The device is now housed in the fieldhouse, making the field safer for sports and part of safety upgrades at all district sites. Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ A local woman with a bad hip and stress fractures now uses a walker at home and must wait months for a new hip. She will join friends for a long-awaited gathering today and plans family trips in January—her friends help her face each challenge. The Spokesman-Review

Join us for a joyful evening of generosity and community at our 3rd Annual Boundless Love Banquet, featuring a delicious dinner, silent auction, raffle baskets, and stories of lives changed through the work of Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC). Come be part of our mission to break the cycle of poverty in Kootenai County by equipping local churches to serve neighbors in need with dignity and hope. The event will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Coeur d’Alene Bible Church, with doors opening at 5:30 PM and the program running from 6:00–8:00 PM. Tickets are $50 per person, so reserve your seat today and be part of something truly impactful—because love in action changes everything.
