- ➤ The Parent Summit will offer free support and resources for up to 80 caregivers on Nov. 8 at Lakes Middle School from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as local partners + including the Idaho Children’s Trust Fund, Strengthening Families Coalition, and Coeur d’Alene School District provide tools on parenting, social connections, and child development with a resource fair and free on-site childcare. - ➤ Idaho Public TV previewed a rough cut of Anchors of Freedom – a documentary about Idaho’s naval past from World War II training to nuclear advances – at screenings in Sandpoint, Coeur d'Alene and Moscow. - ➤ Coeur d'Alene Audubon dedicated an interpretive sign on Tubbs Hill in honor of Kris Buchler—an environmental educator who led birding trips, wildflower walks, and data sharing efforts—to show how dead trees help birds benefit the local ecosystem. Coeur d'Alene Press

- ➤ The Arc is launching 38 affordable three-bedroom homes at 324 N. Corbin Road to help ease the local housing shortage, with each home priced at $375,000 and owner occupancy restrictions to keep long-term affordability.
