Here's your local news at a glance for Sunday, the 2nd of November.
Good morning, Coeur d'Alene.
The publisher of the Coeur d'Alene Press explained in a letter that the long-running Christmas for All program has helped neighbors for almost 40 years by providing support for car repairs, rent relief, health care and more.
The letter noted that the program now offers help year‑round and that partners will share stories through Thanksgiving—launching a campaign on Thanksgiving Day.
Today, Venture Academy students join a hands-on water quality field experience in the Coeur d'Alene National Forest as Confluence Project instructors use rubber boots—scientific tools to help them test water and study habitats.
The program has offered these lessons in North Idaho since 2011.
