- ➤ Levity Theatre presents festive improv comedy shows this December at the Unity Center for Spiritual Growth (4465 N. 15th St.). The series starts tonight with the Holly Jolly Improv Comedy Show, then Family Dinner Fiasco on Dec. 12, and ends with the Improv Comedy Holiday Special on Dec. 19. Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ The documentary SARA: A Life in Dreams and Symbols (celebrating local artist Sara Joyce) won a national Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Regional Content and earlier earned a Northwest Regional Emmy Award as part of Idaho Public Television’s createid series. Coeur d'Alene Press
- ➤ The Divas will perform holiday tunes at the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center in Post Falls at 7 p.m. on Dec. 12 & doors open at 6:15 p.m., with VIP tickets at $50 offering front row seating, wine, and Diva swag and general admission at $35. Coeur d'Alene Press

- ➤ Coeur d'Alene High School unveiled Sigvard the Viking, a bronze statue seven feet tall weighing over 500 pounds, at the school’s entryway on Tuesday evening. The monument was funded by alumni, including the classes of 1967 and 1972, to honor Viking pride and heritage. Coeur d'Alene Press

- ➤ At Iron Horse in downtown Coeur d’Alene, the 4C Natural Resources Committee recognized Ed Lider for his decades of work improving water quality across 168 miles of North Fork streams, which restored cold water fisheries habitat through collaborative efforts with local partners & federal agencies. - ➤ BLM finalized its decision on Wednesday to keep most structures unchanged along the West Fork Pine Creek route; seasonal motorized access will continue, and a bypass road will be decommissioned to protect a historic site known as the F.
