Coeur d'Alene gas is $4.15 a gallon, and alley parking rules are changing
The Good Day Coeur d'Alene team
If you park near an alley, plan on leaving more room. City motorists will now be required to park farther away from alleyways, and Coeur d'Alene officials acted unanimously Tuesday after garbage trucks had trouble safely entering and exiting them.
If you're filling up, Coeur d'Alene's average was $4.15 a gallon as of Nov. 2, the lowest of the eight Idaho cities AAA listed.

- Idaho average: $4.52 a gallon, down 15 cents this week
- Idaho rank: 9th most expensive gas in the country
- Crude oil: near $100 a barrel, versus the $60 range a year ago
Winter-blend fuel is cheaper to make, and a slight dip in demand helped, AAA Idaho's Matthew Conde said. But crude is "extremely expensive," he added, and there "may only be so much wiggle room before prices level off again."
